Superior Weissenborn - This mamacita hermosa was built in Mexico in 2006.

This Superior brand acoustic Hawaiian Lap Steel Guitar was hand crafted in the year 2006 in Mexico reminiscent of the style of the original Weissenborn Hawaiian instruments popularized in the 1920’s. The signature characteristic of these instruments is the hollow neck in conjunction with the conventional hollow body of an acoustic guitar. This configuration makes for big, rich tone. The addition of superb Gotoh tuning machines makes tuning this instrument a breeze. It is pre owned, has some little marks of usage and dings, dongs and smaller scratches but is still in very good condition. The instrument has been very well maintained. Wonderful playability and sound.
