Tony Francis Weissenborn Style Teardrop model.
A Hawaiian style acoustic lap slide with all Hawaiian Koa body and top, Hawaiian Koa Bracing, Red Spruce Bridge plate, full Hide glue construction, Hawaiian Koa fretboard.
Selected round pearl abalone dots. Ebony Bridge with Aluminum wire saddle, cattle bone nut, 50.5mm width at the nut, 62mm stringspacing at the bridge.
Hand rubbed Nitrocellulose Lacquer to full gloss. 1920's style spec plate tuners by Blazer & Henkes.
This is a spectacular sounding instrument. Like Tony puts it "A Teardrop has a more piercing high end than the Hourglass model, and a unique voice that opens up another range of musical possibilities". Tony has a very large waiting list for his guitars. So this one gives you the chance to get a very nice, slightly used example (pictures) with superb tone. One small spot at the neck from hanging to a stand, otherwise clean as a baby.
