**SOLD**
Here we have a fine 'Relic' Teardrop Weissenborn replica made by the great Italian luthier Ermanno Pasqualato.
The top is made of Val di Fiemme Italian spruce from a small microclima area valley, exporting wood for violins, pianos and also guitars.
And also a place from which Stradivarius usually purchased his wood.
The frequencies of the Ermanno-Teardrop are ver distinguished. The sound is clean and in the same time warm and full of depth - so perfect for fingerpicking and sliding style.
Back and sides are built of European walnut. That's a lovely wood which gives very clean frequencies. One describe it like this, this tonewood absorbs a lot of sidetones while the warm but brilliant Weissenborn-tone can still come up.
All in all Ermanno Pasqualato created a Weissenborn replice with a great combination of woods - plus the unique mojo-look given by the 'relic' work.
A lovely lap slide guitar.
